Assoufid Golf Club’s history begins with the discovery of a unique landscape on the outskirts of Marrakech near a small village named Assoufid, where an ancient waterway (known locally as a shaaba) had etched its way over the centuries to from an undulating terrain.

This is not a golf course born from a computer to be fitted into a predefined location..... Niall Cameron (the course architect) and his sister spent many days playing an imaginary course with real clubs and balls to the astonishment of the locals. Step by step a real course appeared, moulded into the landscape.
