The environment is a topic that has been high on the agenda since the conception of the project. During the construction phase, the architect paid particular attention on setting out his design with the minimum disturbance to the naturally beautiful site. Although the course covers 80 hectares there are only 36 that have grass allowing 44 hectares to remain in its natural desert form. A micro watering system has been installed to keep water consumption to a minimum.
